History

This state of the art structure stands high above the City's skyline. Located in the city centre the stadium is easily accessible by road, rail or air. The ground has largely been rebuilt in recent years and is unrecognisable from the St James' Park of old. In the early days the notoriously sloping pitch had the north goal being fully 18 feet above the south. With the arrival of Sir John Hall in the early ‘90s St James’ Park was transformed into the world class arena of today. This prestigious venue provides excellent conference facilities and meeting rooms.
