Goodison ParkHistory
Goodison Park, opened in 1892, was the first major football stadium built in England, and was the first League venue to be visited by a ruling monarch, when George V and Queen Mary came to inspect local schoolchildren at the ground. Considerable redevelopment has taken place over the years which now makes the stadium an interesting and appealing location, with impressive conference facilities and meeting rooms.
