Leicester City F.C
The Walkers StadiumHistory
The Walkers Stadium was opened in 2002 by ex Leicester City and England Player Gary Lineker after he arrived in a Walkers lorry. The stadium cost £37 million to build and is the second largest stadium in league one after Elland Road. The stadium has played host to some international friendly games including England vs Serbia & Montenegro in 2003. This relatively new stadium has excellent conference and banqueting facilities that will rival any other venue in the Midlands.
