Hampden Park is the national stadium of Scotland and also home to Queens Park F.C. Opening in 1903 it was the largest stadium in the world until 1950, and has been redeveloped over the years to include excellent conference and banqueting facilities. The stadium has played host to major sporting events in its history including a UEFA Champions League Final and UEFA Cup Final and a Rugby Union World Cup 1999 match between South Africa and Uruguay. Hampden Park will also play a part in the 2012 Olympics and 2014 Commonwealth Games.
