Bristol City F.C.
Ashton GateHistory
Bristol City Football Club was founded in 1897, when Bristol South End F.C. turned professional and changed its name to Bristol City. In 1900 the club merged with local rival Bedminster F.C. but did not play at the Ashton Gate Stadium until 1904. The ground has changed considerably over the years and todays 21,500 all seater stadium with its versatile exhibition hall and suites offers the ideal venue for that special meeting or conference
